Starting Sophomore

Guys! Wow it has been a minute and I have missed you all and blogging so much! Today I just wanted to update you all on what has been going on in my life. Now that I'm back at school, I am planning on getting back into my once a week schedule and being much more active.

I left Michigan a little over a week ago and am finally all settled back here in Tennessee. This year I am living with my darling roommate from last year along with two others in a cute, tiny apartment. The summer was incredible, but I'm happy to be back home. Being back at school has made me obviously look forward in anticipation to what is going to be, but surprisingly it has lead me to look back at my past school year. For some reason I feel like this year I can be myself. I am not being thrown into an entirely new social construct, which definitely helps, but I know that I am here for a reason. God has been working on my heart so much this past year and thinking of who I was last year is so different than who I am today -- Praise God! It has always been easy for me to feel like I'm on top of the world and I am the best version of myself, but seeing how much growth can happen in just a few months fills me with excitement for what's to come. My hope for this year is to invest in the blog even more than I did last year, but to also be engaged here on campus and in the relationships surrounding me. Over the summer at camp, we focused a lot on seeing God clearly and being aware of what He is doing in our day-to-day lives, which is something that I am striving to do each and everyday.

I know this was a quick little update, but I hope you all enjoyed! Thanks for all the love and support. I'm excited to see what's in store for this next season of life!
